My therapeutic approach begins with showing up with curiosity and empathy for whoever is in front of me, and to be genuinely willing to hear their story, whatever it may be, and wherever it is taking them. I don’t believe in rushing people toward a “better” version of themselves; change tends to happen slowly, often quietly, and under the surface, long before it’s visible. I want to help clients notice that change is already happening, and to recognize that coming into the therapy room in the first place is a real act of courage worth feeling proud of.

I don’t think there’s one right way to heal, and I don’t think healing has a finish line. It looks different for everyone, and it takes the time it takes. What I hope for, over time, is that clients will reach a place where they can sit with themselves – even with the messy, complicated, or contradictory parts – and let that be enough, at least for the moment.

I also believe relationships are where most of the meaning in life comes from. Being truly seen by another person, and seeing them in return, is one of the most powerful things we can offer each other, and this is a big part of what happens in the therapy room. My job isn’t only to guide or support, but to sit alongside someone and witness their life with them.

My hope is that clients feel seen rather than analyzed when they’re with me, like they can bring whatever they’re carrying into the room without needing to clean it up first, and know it will be received with care.
